okay i started my AF yesterday...it was redish brown...but red...when i went potty (TMI sorry) ...and i put a tampon in and a pad just incase and i havent taken any meds for pain...usually i get cramps the first day or two...so far nothing...and i took out the tampon today to check and it wasnt even close to full! i put another on in...but still no cramps...i took progesterone to help start my AF...would this have anything to do with the light AF...also i am getting a cold..stuffy nose and cough and dry throat...im calling the specialist tomorrow to schedule an appt for an HSG...so i might ask them...but i was wondering if anyone else has had this?

Have you been on fertility meds? Some, including Clomid, can thin the lining out and give really light periods after a while. My last two have been barely anything because of Clomid.
Yeah I took one Saturday and it was negative. I guess progesterone can make it lighter. I was on clomid a few months ago and my periods weren't light then. I asked the nurse today she said progesterone can cause light afs ...
