thought we could share our feeling and support eachother :hugs:

i really need it at th moment, ive been having panic attacks and were both so low

dan lost his job in march and weve had no luck sinse,he was offerd a trial as a head chef but had to turn it down because he had no expertise in that area at all.

he has a hnd and a levels hes worked sinse he was 16 but theres just nothing, hes applied for so many jobs with no luck.

Hes now doing unpaid work for wh smith just to feel like hes doing something.

Im so worried, were absolutly skint and worried we may loose the house.

Im constantly crying and panicing its all just getting to much:cry:

:hugs:

It sounds so hard for you right now - have you signed up to any agencies at all?? They might be able to help, especially as your OH has experience with WH Smith now.

We're in the same boat. DH has been out of work since mid May, though he did work for two weeks in July. I'm not working either - I've been looking but no one will hire a 6 month preggo lady :(

Worse is that we aren't currently entitled to any sort of unemployment benefits or anything as we're only temporary residents. DH has been looking for everything and anything - even applying at fast food places. Can't afford to retrain for anything either :(. We'd been scraping by on our measly savings (wasn't really savings, just money we'd set aside for car repairs we knew would need done soon) but that's gone and now we're just dependent on my parents to pay our rent and buy us groceries.

We've been in tight financial situations before, but I've always been working at least so things were never this bad. And of course we've never had a baby on the way to think about either.

I just feel sick and stuck :(

us too. oh has worked all his life untill feb'10 he bacame unemployed and still is. our morgage was protected for a year but that ended in march and we are struggleing with our bills and morgage. we cant pay all our bills on time and keep up with our morgage and we are getting further and further into a mess. with an 8month old and another on the way i dont know wat to do.

im on mat leave at the moment but even working full time in my job i dont earn much more that smp. xxxxx :hugs:

hi I thought this might work as an idea for those who bored and out of work and it can become a supplement jbo if you find work, (which I know myself is bloody difficult at the moment).

This job is helping me and the advert caught my attention.

My OH is looking a for a new job at the moment he is self employed and our financial situation gets worse each month :(

We have a debt management plan with the CCCS and when doing our review we realised that once we take fuel off his income he actually gets a pitiful amount per hour (to embarrassing to say!)

I don't know about anyone else but one of the things I find the hardest is that most of my friends with children don't work as their husbands or partners earn a lot of money and I hate having to make up excuses for not meeting up with them. If I go to a softplay centre or into town for a coffee by the time ive paid the entrance fee, drinks, fuel, parking etc its about £10 so I can't really do this more than once a week, even thats pushing it !

Why do these adverts never actually state what the job is ??????

Hi we are in a similar situation. My OH just got made redundant so is looking for work again, and we were just starting to get ourselves back on our feet.

The depressing thing is we live in private rented accomodation (and are at the moment in receipt of housing benefit due to the finances) but because the rent is £850 per month and council tax about £110 per month we worked out we can only afford for one of us to work because after rent and bills and then including child care we would need to bring in around £1600 just to break even!!

I know its hard Im there but as a parent you will somehow find a way to manage!

Because I forgot to add the big banner at the top of the advert when I copied it over sorry, it says Aloe Vera Distributor. Its basically selling and using Aloe vera products yourself and making money by receiving bonuses on sales and profit on all you sell on from wholesale to retail prices.

Not as dodgy as it seems without hte top line I'm sure. lol

Hooray! After 5 months of no income and borrowing another $3200 from my parents to get by DH started working last week and we got our first pay today! We're gonna be ok provided work stays busy and reliable. He's only casual so no guarantee of hours or anything but there's plenty of work and he may even end up with overtime most weeks (he's already gotten 5 hours of overtime). We bit the bullet and borrowed money from my parents for DH to take some courses and that did the trick - within 10 days of completing his qualifications (2 one day courses so basic really but can't get a job without something here it seems) he got work :)
There is hope and light at the end of the tunnel at last! We may need to borrow more money yet for car repairs, but I don't mind borrowing from my parents when we actually have the ability to start repaying them lol.

Thank you! It's a huge relief to say the least. I've spent the whole week feeling so much lighter as a massive weight has been lifted. We're not out of the woods yet but at least now we have a compass :) :haha:
