Swapping formula's?

My baby is 6 days old and has really bad colic. I am using sma gold and expressing breastmilk but I want to move onto the cow and gate comfort.

Can I do this at this stage? I know babies have really delicate tummies. Should I just switch straight to it or is there another way to do it?

I don't want to ask a midwife as I get different answers off all of them and don't really trust them anymore.

Hi hun, My Baby is 5 days old and feeding on cow and gate stage 1 from her first day. shes had problems with bad wind/colic so i switched her yesterday to cow and gate comfort. shes had 4/5 bottles and already made a difference. i think if you feel its worth trying then definitely do it. its a much gentler food for babies with tender tummies.
i would say at our L.O 's age..its the best time to do it and get them settled on the right food early. i feel the same re my m/w..feel i am making the best decisions for my baby
you may notice L.O's stools a bit looser for the first day or two. but its all perfectly normal and will settle down quickly...
