Had emcs with ds1 and an ectopic pregnancy last year, both leaving me with laparotomy scars close together. Csection one is healed nicely, ectopic one is still red as was only 9 month ago. Currently 34 weeks with ds2 and having elective section as recommended by consultant.
For past 2 days have noticed a red raised lump on one end of my scar (think is ectopic scar but so close together cant really tell, or manage to see close up enough round bump! ) it feels sore, everything is so stretched and it sits exactly where my underwear does. Poking about this morning and a little bit of fluid escaped from lump. ..
Any thoughts? Ingrown hair? Scar infected? Or all just stretched and distorted?
Dont really want to call midwife for nothing. But last thing I would want is an infection present before next Csection.
