Hey girls,

Not been on these forums for yonks! Been soooo busy (planning our wedding in July!).

Anyway I'm on a mahoosive diet (have nearly lost a stone in last month! yay), and have started thinking about exercise, to earn more calories to eat or save.

I took Jensen swimming on friday (I hate swimming as a rule! Too splashy and too wet & cold!) anyway he LOVED it! And it wasn't nearly has much hassle as I was expecting (getting us both dried & dressed etc with big bag & inflatable to carry!).

So I was thinking of taking him more as its such good exercise for me also (not that I do too much swimming, but we stayed in the pool for about an hour). I was thinking of taking him 3 x a week again for about an hour and a half each time - do you think this is too much? Or indeed can you take them swimming too much?

What do you think?

I think jensen will tell you when he wants to get out... and if it gets shorter each time thats a sign to say he doesnt want to go so much in a week!! Courtney loves it :)

You must had your stone loss to the biggest loser thread :)

I will be taking my son each day as we have a pool at my MIL's house ..water is very good for babies bones and muscles or so the doc told me ..trust me if baby wants out he'll let you know

i agree, we take maddi normally twice, would love to take her more often but never seems enough hours in the day  but i do think you can take them too much. maddi loves swimming, infact we've just come back from swimming now :D

Hebe enjoys her weekly swim which is a half hour session but I bring her out after 25 mins. If I push it I'm worried it will spoil it for her as getting out and dressed can be the worst part.

God I remember bringing max alone with me once ..it was so freaking hard carrying him the bags and floaty thing lol

It really depends on his skin, the chlorine can really dry his skin, it does that for Landon, so if it bothers him I would only take him like once or twice a week but if he tolerates it you could do everyday. But we were always told at that age they shouldn't be out in the sun that long, even with sunscreen, they can overheat easily, so I limited it to about 20-30min max until they were probably about a year or so

Lol I know! Luckily the staff let me bring the buggy into the changing room - else I'd never cope!

I can only manage once a wk. But that's me, not Ally! He just crawls away all the time through me getting him undressed/dressed. Like the others have said, I think he'd let you know if he wasn't happy!
