Hiya ladies, looking to buy my DD a little table for Christmas and I want one that comes with 2 chairs as one day she'll have to share the space with her little sister! It's only intended for her to play/sit at and will go in our living room. I've hunted around but it's rather hard to make a decision purwly from pictures on a computer screen so.....any suggestions? I'd rather not spend more than about £60 unless it was something truly awesome of course :)

Thanks fuzzball, I'll have a look now x

Hmm still none the wiser as to which would be suitable. Any other suggestions?

Amy's is from Ikea. The table and two chairs was £20 I think.

Ikea do a really cheapie set of small table and 2 chairs for about £16 I think. We got one for Tom and yes its a pain to build and its not going to last for ever but its perfect size and height and for that price I don't mind too much what he does to it.

They do some other seperate tables and chairs which are sturdier but you'd probably pay £40 for what you're looking for.

we have a lovely red one from toys r us. https://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-...-Chairs/Wooden-Table-and-2-Chairs-Set(0011439) you might be able to get a voucher code with xmas coming up.

most furniture made for children will be suitable hun x

I got Serens one from the ELC, the pink and blue plastic one, its lovely and sturdy but its covered now with crayon marks which won't come off it.

We're going with ikea for Callums but wilkos have got a pink or blue table and chair sets for quite cheap, not sure how comfy they are but you might want to take a look in there xx

We've just bought on off eBay for about 40. It's a little red table with 2 chairs and has pencils for legs. It's sturdy, cute and Rebecca loves it. Was from little devils direct I think.

We had an old horrible side table that I had wanted to throw out for ages. I sanded it and painted it a green colour and its gorgeous! I then got LO a zebra wooden chair from smyths for £8 and am going back next week for the same chair...only a giraffe! :)

I've got the cheapo Ikea table. My original plan was to paint it yellow but have not got around to it. However, it would have been futile as it is absolutely covered in crayon and marker on the legs, top and bottom of the table.

I bought some more expensive chairs which look adorable but she's coloured all over them as well. It will wash off though.

I had my eye on exactly the same table! Thought it was really really cute but OH put a bit of a dampener on my excitement saying that for that price it was probably not very nice in reality. But if you say it's sturdy then I'll be guided by you - thank you!!

You're a good mummy sanding and painting a table. Bet it looks lovely! Wish we had a Smyths near us :-(

It's the colouring in thing which makes me think I'm better off not going for a white table. I know they shouldn't draw on furniture but let's face it - it's inevitable really!!

early leaning centre, it was £75 but we used a discount code and got it for £60. love how girly it is :-) x
