So, DH and I made the decision to take a small break from trying to get pregnant, starting next cycle. I decided, with the help of the fertility nurse, that my body needs a break. I'm starting Progesterone only pills next cycle. This way I can focus on losing weight and getting healthier for the next fertility step. A difficult decision to make, but I believe it is the right decision for us right now.

I'm currently CD 7, and this AF has been horrible. I'm having issues with my back, and it def hasn't helped. Friday, CD 4, I had the worst cramps that I have ever had. The worse my cramps got, the more my back spasm. The more my back spasm, the worse my cramps got. I was shaking, and crying. I almost went to the ER. I honestly felt like I was dying.

I'm still gonna keep coming here. Looking for support and looking to support others. This is one place I feel totally comfortable talking openly. My plan is being on them for a max of 6 months, but if I get my weight down where it needs to be before then, I'm stopping them.

Just kinda looking for some support. Looking for opinions. Thanks!

I know how you feel. I've been on break since June and plan on taking my Aygestin around the 31st and then Clomid during my cycle when it starts. So hypothetically this is my CD12. Hang in there.

OMG! You are just like me! I have just started progesterone only pill this cycle (Sunday!) to take a break from TTC and also determine if endo is my problem and is what is causing pains etc. When gyno told me to start them I just felt like it was taking a step back after 5 and a half years of not taking BC.

I am like you too in that on Sunday, cramps were so bad, I was cleaning my kitchen and I just collapsed to the floor, crawled to the living room sofa and balled my eyes out for about half an hour, nothing would get rid of the pain, not even the painkillers doc prescribed.

Just thought I would let you know you are certainly not alone in this and I am here for support if you need me! We could be progesterone buddies! haha!

Keep thinking positive hun, giving your body a break is a good thing sometimes, it might be just the remedy you need. Have you been diagnosed with endo or anything like that?

I too need to lose weight, and have started Rosemary Conley (UK diet/fitness scheme thing) which has certainly made me feel better about things. Need to lose 2 st to get bmi under 30 or 4 stone to get it under 25. What are you planning to do?

Look forward to hearing from you and how you are getting on.xx

Ive been checked for Endo, and dont have it. No idea why my pain is so bac! I think its my body's way of saying hey, I need a break.

We could def be progesterone buddies! Rite now Im trying to focus on going to the gym regularly and eating healthier. I need to lose like, 20 pounds and DH has to lose 15-20 pounds. Im def planning on only being on the pills for a max of 6 months.
