Tamoxifen for ovulation

Hello ladies,

I wondered if you could share your experiences with Tamoxifen? I have been prescribed 40mg on days 2-5. I had three cycles of clomid but my fs doesn't think I ovulated strongly enough.

What kinds of side-effects did you get? My fs tells me I shouldn't be such an emotional wreck as with clomid... I hope he's right!

Hi I am on my 4th round tamoxifen, 40mg days 2-5. I havent noticed anything major that stands out significantly enough for me to put it down to the tamox. I didnt really have much on clomid either except for a few hot flashes but then I didnt respond/ovulate on clomid so maybe thats why! Good luck

Hope Tamoxifen works for us! I had nearly every side-effect in the book and my poor husband suffered greatly... Hoping for a few less side-effects (and complete meltdowns!) with the new meds!

awk I hope the tamox is easier on you, good luck to you too, I went for my scan the other day on cd13 and had 1 follie measuring 19 mm, I am really pleased, its my biggest yet so we are bd'ing every other day x
