I was just wondering how much your tax credits changed when you had your second child

we got na extra £50 a week. But obviously it would depend on your circumstances

we got an extra £10 per week until baby was 1 as the baby element but that was 6 yrs ago. i think the government have taken the baby element away now so i'm not expecting mine to change this time, but it will depend on your circumstances.xxx.

It will change , it goes up when you have any children. If you look on direct govs website it should explain on the entitlement tables

When it was just Leo (and my partner only worked 17.5 hours a week)we received :

CTC- £49.85
WTC - £57.72
CB - £20ish

now since having lex and the renewal we receive :

CTC - £109.45
WTC - £78.95
CB - £134.40

But this is based on last years income only being £7800.Next year i have no idea what we'll get!

Hope this helps

ours recently went down by £150 so weve had to get a lodger into cover it as that was basically paying the other half of our mortgage!!?!? the mind bogles!
sooooo, i have no idea what we'll get once baby number 3 is here!

My circumstances are as follows;

we both work , I work 24 hours a week , James works 38 hours a week , we earn between us £17,000 a year. Which is basically the same figure as the previous tax year.

We get £222 a month cTC & £25 a week WTC .

Oh but our income will be down by about £1200 next April due to maternity leave

We have one son of 13 months & I'm due in dec.
