My OH has had 3 different jobs this tax year (I know!)

He's only recently moved in with me and I'm waiting for my joint tax credit form to come through.

Now, he knows what he's earnt but he only has wage slips from his current job (started early December)

Will this be a problem? Do you have to send wage slips on for the whole year? Or can you just put down earnings?

We have never had to send in wage slips for tax credits

Oh phew!!

What do you have to do then? Just work out the total income for the year?

I thought you would have to send in evidence if some sort, else people could lie about how much they were earning

You can't really lie, they confirmed to me last time over the phone when I renewed that the figurei had given for my husband matched the figure they had from tax office

You don't send slips BUT some people get selected for review, we were selected last year for the child care element so had to send proof of all our childcare invoices etc was a nightmare, it's only a random sample though but definitely don't lie.

(Not saying you would I just mean generally lol!)
