im nto sure what there rules are but u might have to pay this back (im not claimin tax credits yet) call them up and they should tell u all the info u need
my oh has earned more than i said he'd earn but and they'll take it off next yrs allowance but i'll just say he'll earn his basic next yr so it will stay the same plus i wont be earning anything so that'll level it out as well, they'll only make you pay it back monthly out your bank if you stop recieveing all together.
It depends, i think it comes in pay brackets so sometimes the increase will not go into the next bracket if that makes sense. Even if you do have to pay back some money, it will come out of next years, rather than you getting a massive bill.
im the same hun, my incapacity benefit went up during the year, now im petrified we'll have a load to pay back and our income will be reduced by loads, we can only just afford to survive now
incap benefit is not a taxable benefit so like mat allowance its not taken into account for tax credits xx
as mentioned they will just reduce next yrs payments..
also if your income is going to be considerably less than last yr they can base it in this yrs income..
as i was working last yr our income this yr is very reduced and as they dont count my mat allowance they have based our claim on wht we expect to earn this yr.. (just oh wages)
