Im so confused... got my renwal form through... last year it worked out that I put £12500 down as earnings and have been being paid regarding to that...

Now I had my p60 through last week and also my renewal form.. my earnings on p60 were only 8k odd. I have been on Maternity Allowance for around 8 months (do I need to tell them about the whole lot or is it true the 1st £100 you dont need to declare?)

Then if its slighlty less than £12500 what happens, as wont they pay this year on that? Confused!

I'm not to sure hon, ive only just had my tax credits for last year, they owed me over a grand

Hi,

You were obviously given payments based on a higher wage so you need to call them up and give them the income on your P60 and ask them for a refund for the whole year. It happened to me a while back and I was given back nearly 3k.

Good luck

The thing is I have been on MA so need to add that on to the P60 amount, do I have to tell them the whole amount as heard you dont have to declare the first £100 of MA? Also gonna have to work out weeks etc Ive been on it which could take a while! :(
