how do you get your tax credits back dated?

With great difficulty. We're still trying to get ours, over a year on. They're horrendous. They cannot fix an error that THEY made.

It depends if you're asking for 3 months or more.
Just phone and ask, they can either do the 3 months on the phone, or send you a form.

Its automatically backdated if you've just had a baby, up til the childs birth if it was in 3 months.

Mine was automatically done so not sure how you would do it if it wasnt

i was told it would be back dated for 3 months but it hasnt! ill ring up tomo and see what they say
