(TAKE THE WINE OUT IF YOU WANT AND ADD MORE STOCK AND PUREE)

BACON

OR dont forget that there isnt just chicken, pork, lamb and beef - there is also joints of bacon. Our traditional irish dish is boiled bacon with cabbage and potatos:

literally boil the joint of bacon (gammon) as per packet instructions but boil it in half water and half cider (if this bothers you even though the alcohol burns off then use all water).

OPTIONAL:add a tablespoon of brown sugar and an onion studded with cloves for extra yumminess :)

does gammon taste like bacon on a butty haha tar hun x

might give it a go any good home made pasta sauces am crap want 2 become a good cook fro when baby no 2 comes along x

to be honest i always just bought pasta sauces.
i am a whizz with making cheese sauce but it took a lot of practice!

humm i just need to be more expermental

Gammon roasted in the oven with honey (and chilli if you want) is nice.

You can get packet mixes for sausage casserole, chicken chasseur etc.

Take the skin off your sausages, mix a little salt and pepper & grated onion,Use ready rolled pastry and make a pie, with either pastry lid or mashed potatoe lid.

Roll your skinless sausages into meatballs and have with pasta in tomato sauce.

Chicken on skewers with peppers and onions, brush with oil and oven bake, nice with jacket potatoes or in a wrap.

BOILED GAMMON IS THE BEST  if you like bacon you will love it. Its my fav meat for roasts :)

home made pasta sauce for me usually consists of:

Packet of cherry tomatoes
1 clove garlic
teaspoon of mixed herbs (or tarragon if having chicken)
Tomato puree

then if i want it creamy i add double cream OR even better - creme fraiche (low in fat)

OPTIONAL:
put in cheese
vegetables e.g. finally chopped onions
stock
Basil, tarragon, chillis or other herbs
