Teat callapsing

So my daughter uses size 2 avent teat, her milk is just normal sma gold but sometimes I have to put half a gavison sachet in for her reflux.

The last few days the teat is collapsing.

The milk seems to be coming out fine and sometimes I think it's flowing too fast (comes down her chin)

Does anyone else have this problem? I feel size 3 will be too fast for her.

hi you do need size 3 or vari flow...

i was on sma then with gaviscon.. it does thicken up so deffinetly get size 3.. variflow works well too... you may find that number 3 is slightly too fast but your baby will soon know that she needs to adjust her suck after the first few bottle baby will be fine so perservere with it...

i stopped gaviscon tho as it made my baby constipated....

i had this happening and i changed her to size 3 teats, BIG mistake for 2 days she wouldnt drink milk. It still happens so i just pull the bottle from her every now and again and let it pop out again. shes still getting the ilk fine.

Hi we use tommee tippee closer to nature bottles.
We found the size 1 teats would collapse quite often, if that happens it's said to be due to baby sucking too hard on the teat.
When ds was 2months old we switched to variflow teats and never had this prob since. it did come out a bit fast at first but within a few days he learned how control the flow himself.
