What's the difference between vari flow and slow flow?

Thanks ;)
xx

Vari flow means the baby can vari the flow of milk, as fast to as slow was they want. Slow means slow.

I never used a slow teat, was told that the baby will wear themselves out trying to get milk and not take a full feed.

We used vari flow until she was 3months old then swapped to medium

Standard teats have a single hole in them, whereas a variflow has an X, which means that the harder they suck, the more comes out. Standard teats, whether slow, medium or fast just come out at the same rate regardless!

In theory you can use variflow the entire time you're using bottles, but you may still have to replace them from time to time as the shape of the cut makes it weaker and more prone to splitting.
