Hi ladies. I don't temp but I'm curious what your temp does after ovulation if you are pregnant. And is the change enough to notice physically in your body? With my son I felt very warm and flushed after ovulation and for a week or two after and that just happened with my pregnancy a month ago (ended in mc). Am I crazy or is feeling flushed and warm a possible sign of a fertilized egg? I'm only 2dpo so it def hasn't implanted yet if I am...

Some women do will a little hotter when pregnant due to the increase of hormones. After u ovulate ur temp will continue to rise until it starts to drop indicating that AF is on her way. If u have 18 straight days of high temps after Oing then 9 times out of 10 u r pregnant. Every women is different, but CM pre AF is pasty nd not slippery.

That is generally fertile CM nd u can have that up to a week after ovulating

your temp goes up right after ovulation, so the flushed/warm you feel now is most likely just related to ovulation and progesterone increasing. If pregnant, it stays up throughout your pregnancy. Pregnant or not, you can still feel flushed a few days post ovulation since the body is warmer than it had been. sometimes when pregnant, an extra increase in temp occurs, which could be the warmth you felt with your son and last month. You should really try temping, it's super easy and a nice way to pinpoint that you did ovulate and when, and can help to see how long your luteal phase is.
It's a pretty interesting pattern to see where the temp is at a steady range prior to ovulation and then it really does jump up and you can see a dramatic difference on a chart from pre-ovulation and post ovulation and then it drops back down for AF (it did it the morning AF started for me this time).

I too get creamy CM the day after ovulation. It'll typically stay that way until about a day or 2 before AF, when it then gets clear and slippery.

Thanks for all the info ladies. I'm 4dpo and the past 3-4 days I have been feeling very warm and flushed and also get a rapid heart rate along with the feeling. My heart is beating quicker as I type this. It would be too early to experience this right? I'm still at least two days away from potential implantation. Any explenation for this feeling?

Aaah! The average implant dated is what everyone goes by. Bur those are averages and not the "be-all-end-all." I KNEW I was preg at 5dpo with this baby. I got a faaaaint line at 8dpo and a def bfp the next day. It all depends on how quickly your egg leaves the tubes to the uterus. Some take more than a week. But there are those women who get early bfps which proves implantation can happen sooner!

You're right. Just averages. Well, we shall see. I have the same symptoms everyday around the same time and it's just like my other two pregnancy (was pregnant 4 weeks ago but mc'ed. If I'm not pregnant, I don't know what else this would be. Also yesterday evening I had af like cramps for about an hour and lower back. If I didnt know any better I would have sworn af was coming. But it's still another 9-10 days before that happens. Very odd...

At 7dpo I was having major discomfort from cramps. To the point I told my hub i wanted to leave our nephews bday party. Definite implantatoon. Never felt it with my other three!

Just my two cents...I watched my temps stay high through my luteal phase and before I tested I continued to temp...I think I temped until 3 days after my bfp and I saw my temps were way higher but personally I did not feel hot or flushed. Temp wise I dont feel much different pregnant. I actually feel a bit colder. Wierd huh? The a/c in my office is just getting on my nerves now.

I wish I temped and could be tracking if my temp is actually higher. I feel so warm inside as we speak, but I'm really chilly on the outside. It sort of feels like a fever when I get this feeling. And I've been crampy off and on. I'm only 6dpo so I don't really expect any of this to be from pregnancy but it is really odd and I wish I knew what it was. I know I ovulated on saturday, could these be lingering ovulation symptoms?

Not sure..I hate symptom spotting. It drives u insane. After ov soooo many things are like or could be pregnancy related or could be nothing at all. I really hope its good symptoms for u

I know it! Preg symptoms could be anything symptoms haha. So annoying. But I will say I'm pretty sure I've ever only felt these symptoms this consistently following ovulation when I have been pregnant. I would LOVE to be pregnant but it would not be planned, again (mc a month ago was an unplanned pregnancy), and would be slightly stressful due to my husband's up in the air promotion. I know that God has a plan though and no matter what happens it will work out!

Exactly...its just too similar, I see sooo many women on here grasp at every symptom just in hopes of getting a bfp, just to be devastated when its negative. Heartbreaking!

@kei...that being said I think women know their bodies especially experienced women so in your case I really hope the signs point to a bfp..especially after your loss

I think you're right tryn4. Especially with this being my (possibly) 3rd pregnancy, I know what I'm looking for. And I'm also not trying to make up symptoms in my head like I did with my son who we were ttc with. I know I have these symptoms for sure and I know they happen to me with pregnancy. But I also know my body could just be out of whack from the mc. Although I ovulated only like 3-4 days later than normal (plus I'm bfing still) so I think my body is getting back to normal pretty quickly.
