terrified about my stool?!?!

after i went to the loo this morning (bowel movement) i flushed the toilet and as i flushed the toilet i seen this red thing floating on the top so as gross as it sound i got it out and it was like a red drfinatley red jelly like sunstance i dont know wether it was blood or not im going out of my mind...im constantley checking my poo's after ive been becuase im scared i have something terribly worng woth me...i have had loose stools for the last week and half! im trying my hardest to think wot it could of been i just cant wait to go to the loo 2mrw and check again im 23 and ever since ive had my son a year ago my health just hasnt been the same and now i think i have colon cancer and im terified please someone help!?!

any of you had anything similiar? xx

You could gave piles. I mean this in the nicest way possible but do you have health anixety as there's always different threads about different things. I have it really bad and reading your threads remind me of myself x

i do suffer woth health anxirty but these things are seriously happening which are making my anxiety worse im on anti-depressants atm because my mother passed away in september its just something to calm me down...plus my iron was low in september and all i have done it worry im having it re-checked monday im worrying like mad hope its back 2 normal...xx

bright red is a good sign...means that it's fresh blood from a nearby source, most likely piles.

or it could have been something you ate that didn't digest properly?

i have been having loose stools for a about 2 weeks but i think thats maybe a side affect of the anti-depressants im on as i read the leaflet yesterday and it states u can get diarreah etc ... it havent happened since i posted on this thread it must of been the red peppers i was eating the day prior to that... because i had a chicken stir fry that had alot of peppers in...but it didnt look like a pepper when i fished it out? who knows X
