A while back I posted on here trying to learn what to expect.

My waters broke at 22 weeks. Scary time, but we made it to 24 (viability)and met with neonatologists that told me what to expect if I went into labour.

Luckily, my break was more of a leak and my amniotic sac managed to hold out with decent fluid until 36 weeks.

whilst in labour they prepared me again for possible SCBU, but he came out a good size and great apgars and were sent home 2 days later. We have had some minor issues with jaundice and feeding and came close to being readmitted, but my doc helped me through with lots of support and close monitoring.

I really know how lucky I have been after being prepared for the worst and I think about premmie mums often and the heartache and challenges they face. So I wanted to say thanks for the advice and support and let you know the admiration I have for those mummies who had their premmies and endured that tough journey. I never realised or thought about it much until I was faced with it. So kudos to you all
