Yep, after a total of 22 months (8 months of pregnancy and 14 months of breast feeding) AF has reared her ugly head again

Now I've had to immerse myself in a world of tampons and towels again....I'd forgotten how much hassle it is

Oh and talk about heavy! Jesus, it's like there's a massacre going on in my uterus

Sorry, but I felt like I had to share with ladies who would understand my misery at this monthly disturbance coming back and I'm not quite "that" full on with my facebook status'

I wasn't quite as lucky as you but I had 9 months of pregnancy and 7 months of breastfeeding so know its horrible! X

So sorry, luv! I know how you must feel. I found a tampon in my backpack several months ago and for about 10secs I was like "wtf is this thing?" I'm dreading her return. Time for #2 then?

Lol! You should have seen me! I was stood in the "feminine hygiene" aisle at the supermarket and I was lost! My Mum had to rescue me

It's funny how it's like having your first AF all over again!

No more children for me, my body barely coped with pregnancy last time plus of course there's no husband any more lol, it'd be a bit of an immaculate conception....

Which reminds me of the pharmacist at Boots the other day, I went in for some meds for something or other - I've forgotten what! - and she asked me if it was possible that I could be pregnant, I just said "only if I'm the virgin Mary!"

I'd also forgotten how bad the cramps were during AF..... Time to stock up on paracetamol!
