hey, welcome to bnb! i'm Sophie

my OH was a nightmare for a while, giving me all the "you're pregnant not ill" lines, but he's been brilliant for the last few months, even though i'm still trying to do everything as normal, he usually insists that he'll do it & tells me to go and relax. oh and he gives me back rubs every night hopefully your OH will get better in time especially when you've got a great big bump!! x

Oh yea he was a pain in the ass at first! I think in the beginning people dont realise how awful you feel because you have nothing to show for it if you get me? Since our 20 week scan and my bump starting to appear though hes been much better xx

Stuffymuffy, iwish i had your courage at least! As much as i would like to sometimes, i dont think id ever have the courage to leave him...
Im 12 weeks pregnant, almost 13. So not very far, im so new to this! Lol. How far along are you?

Rainbows, you're lucky how long have you two been together? I think im just terrible at picking the right guy!

Yeah, he took the pregnancy not very well at first, but he's gotten alot better now.

SNAP!!! We have a one year old, and I'm pregnant again, and we are STILL having this talk I laugh now, but OOOOOOHHH my god, it irritates me like crazy!

I'm Laura, I'm 19 and have a one year old daughter. Now I'm 16 weeks pregnant with number two. OH's can be oooh so irritating. I've had some serious problems with mine, including him leaving me at one point, whereas it should have been the other way round to be honest. But recently we have been getting along a lot better. i think every couple is going to find each other irritating sometimes. It definately gets a lot harder to get along when you are pregnant, well it did for me anyway! I always have a lot shorter fuse

Mine keeps telling me im being overdramatic about everything. I just say "Oh, well im sorry for carrying your child for 9 months, would you like to give it a try?"
And he shuts up. lol

Well I am actually married,
at the VERY beginning (like after my BFP) my DH was the biggest pain in the a**!!!!!!!

At first he would tell me all I ever do was lay around and I was lazy when I would be so exhausted that I would have to take naps and go to bed at 8 pm.

Then he told me that the nausea was all in my head and that If I was strong enough, I could keep myself from throwing up....WTF

He never understood why I would sometimes get cranky either.

He is SO much better now and says I'm beautiful and look fabulous. He is now sympathetic towards my tiredness and nausea. He even went out to get me ginger ale last night!
But i think two scans with a beautiful baby will change your mans attitude.

The only thing that still annoys me is that he wants sex ALL the time and I never want it.
We made an agreement (and it seems SO wrong) that I will have sex with him even if I don't want to just to fulfill his needs. But he can't get mad if I want it over quick or don't seem interested.
I only do this because without sex my husband will bug me to death or get EXTREMELY annoying & irritable!

He will get better, and if he doesn't....just wait until he lays eyes on his baby for the first time.

Ashley, I've tried that! You're lucky it works. My boyfriend just gives me the "At least you don't have to put up with your complaining" I don't even complain that much! haha

Im suprised it even works. Im really tempted to get my bf one of those empathy bellies, and have him wear it for like, a week. See how he feels. lol. And you might not have to put up with your complaining, but you have to put up with his. lol

My OH and me had a few problems at first because i was really bitchy and he was quiting smoking and we wouldn't think of eachothers problems, but now that hes good with his smoking and i am thinking before talking we have been great and it helps that im starting to show so he remembers i am pregnant and sometimes my hormones get to me. i think almost every OH just needs time.

hi im hayley welcome to bnb. not pregnant anymore but im 20 have a 17 month old daaughter and a 8 day old son. and yes i can say my fiance irritates the crap outta me somtimes like today i asked him if he could run into the bank for me and he told me i cant do that anymore because im not pregnant anymore i reminded him of the fact that i have afterpains and my spd is still there and got my way lol. but he does many irritating things like giving me the silent treatment for not eating his cooking (would you eat cold mash potatos with chunks of undercooked potato all through it?? but the worst thing he done was take my daughter out forget his phone and go for a 2 hr drive i couldnt contact him and i already have huge anxiety when lo is with somone else so i had a huge panic attack couldnt breath properly thought i was going into eary labour bc my braxton hicks got so strong from panicing still havnt forgiven him for that one

My fiancée has been great besides the fact that he constantly is trying to get in my pants and I'm just not into it right now lol. Like some of the other girls said, your OH will come around. I honestly think guys are just annoying by nature
