Has anyone had any experience using 'Evra' the contraceptive patch?

Hi,

I have just stopped using the patch so we can TTC our 1st.

I have been on it for about 2 years now - i couldn't recommend it more! Brilliant!

my experience is im now pregnant while using it to protect against pregnancy

I used it for 2 days, during that time i got terrible shooting pains down my leg, i don't know if thats normal or not but i think i read about DVT? so i took it off and just stuck with condoms. x

I used it buy constantly felt sick when I had it on ... was fine for the 7 days I had it off then felt really sick again when I put it back on so stopped using it.

In reference to the post above ... no contraceptive is 100% effective ... your just one of the unlucky ones that got 'caught' on it. I 'fell' with my first on Microgynon but I wouldn't advise people not to use it ... it's just one of those risks that you have to take x
