1. Don't bother buying expensive thick wrapping paper, LO's find it really hard to tear open, the cheap thin stuff is perfect for little hands:thumbup:

2. Prep all your veg potato's on xmas eve....more time to spend with the LO's

3. Before wrapping young childrens presents, get the toys out of the box and take off all those stupid tie's, because kids don't want to wait to play with them....trust me:dohh: Also works for big presents, for example bikes, play kitchens. Build them so its ready to go.

4. ^^When taking all tie's off make sure the batteries are working (if they are included) if not replace them :winkwink:

5. Don't go overboard with presents children get bored quickly when so much stuff.

Thats a few add yours and i will update the front page :)

Wow, as my first xmas as an Earth Mummy I didnt think of ANY of this :dohh: we go to family for dinner so thats that sorted, but I would just wrap the things up in the boxes as its easier and my wrapping is rubbish  Daisy will be 11 months at xmas, I hope she will be a little interested :) xxx

O i wrap in the boxes, i just take the tie's off and stick it back in the box, some of them are ven screwed to the box

Ella was 11mths last year too and loved ripping the paper off, although she wasn't entirely sure exactly what it was all about, she still enjoyed herself and the fuss that was made over her.
