I thought this was an interesting read. I'm still thinking about it, but the question that came to mind is what happens to the children when they hit puberty? Do the girls stick around and become part of the adult community? Are the boys automatically banished from the village?

My heart breaks for those women, but yeah, I wonder what they do with the male children as they get older

I read another article that said "the only men permitted to sleep in the village are those who were raised in it" so it sounds like no one is banished for gender.

It's a very interesting story and in glad they have found a way to live happily but it's a sad state of affairs that women are still treated so badly they have to live in a seperate village to be safe!
