Hello Girlies,

I thought it might be an idea to star a check list for everything we may possibly need/want/ have to do/book etc for our weddings and we can all add our bits to help each other? What do you think?

So far this is what I can think off and I am sure there is loads more:

Guest list
Venu
Wedding Dress
Bridesmades Dresses

Flowers
Suits
Transportation

Wedding Cake

*Dr. Scholl's gel insoles for high heels/dress shoes! Believe me your feet will thank you!
*Emergency wedding day kit, with bits like needle and thread, clear nail polish, safety pins, make-up remover pads (for smudges), that sort of thing.
*ceremony programs
*place cards (if you're using them)
*garter (if you're doing a garter toss)
*card box for the gift table
*make-up
*haircut, colour, style appointment for the day of
*manicure appointment, if that's your kind of thing
*jewelry, not to mention rings!
*ring pillow (if you have one)
*flower girl basket and petals

Overnight bag (inc different shoes - something I didn't have!)
Small bag to keep tissues, phone etc in.
Packs of toys, colouring books etc for any kiddies.

sometimes it feels a little overwhelming.

i still have so much to get done and mine is just over 7 months away.

my current list is:

wedding shoes
strapless bra for dress fittings
wedding underwear
tiara and veil
bridesmaid dress, shoes and veil
sort out reception with wedding coordinator
box for storage of dress and taking it too florida
hair and sort extensions
cake topper
wedding jewellery
rings
suit hire
oh and sort passports out for me and maddi, and maddi needs her first one and mine is about to expire - a good one for honeymoons/wedding's abroad!!

Oh yeah- if you're staying in a hotel room the night of, make SURE you pack a proper bag for the next day!

lol I got so caught up in making sure I had everything for the ceremony and reception that I forgot to bring pretty much anything for the day after! I ended up leaving the hotel with no bra on, wearing my husband's shoes!

lol I got so caught up in making sure I had everything for the ceremony and reception that I forgot to bring pretty much anything for the day after! I ended up leaving the hotel with no bra on, wearing my husband's shoes!

My MoH packed mine and bless her she did a great job including strawbs and champagne shoved in there!

The day after our wedding, it was freezing so I was grateful for my cashmere jumper, boyfriend jeans and no shoes...I ended up wearing my sparkly Gina's down to breakfast and on the way home, I looked great

make sure you arrange to have your dress pressed/steamed at the hotel before the ceremony!

I only asked the priest on Sunday....and ours is less than 5 weeks away lol

Some things to think about for the wedding:

Dietery requirements (if you're having sit down food)
How everyones getting there (not just for you, the wedding party?)
How big a venue you need
A place thats good for pictures
Entertainment
Gift lists/registering
Where you are staying night before
If kiddies are gonna be there a kiddie menu

That's all I can think of right now, sorry if I've repeated something hehe.
