They have chosen to give me a c section

Im 33 weeks and they are planning one for my 39 or 40 th week. So Im guessing I won't need a birthing plan.... What's gonna happen? I ha an emergency c section with my daughter. But obviously thr wasn't planned. So how will it all go down when I arrive at the hospital?

You get booked in the morning you arrive and go down to a bed on the ward where they'll put the fetal movement monitor on you. And you just hang around until it's your turn to be brought down to theatre (you walk down). Then anaesthetics will put in your spinal block with you sitting on the edge of the bed, then it's all set up for the section and the rest you already did before Good luck with it x

I'd still do a birth plan, they followed mine despite being emcs in terms of oh telling me the gender and if its planned then they're likely to allow things like immediate skin to skin etc and breast feeding right away if that's your choice.

'they' choose, do you want a csection? -- I'd still do a plan, there are still things you can request. Skin on Skin, Delayed vac/eye ointment. Start of nursing while being cleaned up/stitched up... You still have options even with a csection/.
