aha I've been enjoying this today and it's so true, so many girls just get an ann summers costume when there's so much more fun to be had on halloween!

i'm going as a pretty unsexy wednesday adams, complete with creepy headless doll, what are your costumes?

I think ann summers costumes are so cringy but I know girls always go skimpy. Last time I got dressed up and went out for Halloween 4 years ago I was bat girl, my oh was the joker, some friends were clown, dead cheer leader, cat, bumble bee lol. This year I'm not going out as usual but friends are going as dead nurse, warewolf, bloody prom queen. I think people are getting past the slut costumes and turning to sexy scary hahaha xx

Last year i went as katie price. Got one of those bright orange body suits,a blonde over the top wig and stuck 2 orange ballons into my top. Oh i also wore a lace thing from ann summers (sort of an all in one skimpy thing) but didnt feel too slutty because the orange body suit was fab
And i was so warm!!!

It is usually pretty damn cold here by Hallowe'en, so my costume needs to fit over a snowsuit. That rules out the skimpy costumes very quickly!
But I do kind of find the "slut-oween" costumes just.... sort of bewildering? Some costumes are pretty sexy by nature. And that's cool, but it has gotten to the point where the pre-made costumes are really over-the-top provocative. I mean, they even have "sexy" elmo, big bird and cookie monster this year. Why not just be elmo? To each their own, but the sexified stuff has just about taken out all other choices in women's costumes. It would be nice if there were regular women's costumes, too. The kind that fit over snowsuits...

we are taking the kids out and I would never go to a club on halloween pregnant or not. It would drive me mad!!

We are going to a kids monster ball and I am going to be a big fat pumpkin in a orange jumper and black and orange leggings LOL x
