So first off I have been TTC for two years. But outside of a doctor's care. Just trying it the old fashioned way.

I have recently come under a doctor's care. I went to the doctor because I experienced extreme pain with intercourse, like curling up and crying for fifteen minutes after. I had a pelvic ultrasound and it showed that I have a cyst and a retroverted uterus.

Now that the doctor has told me to really pay attention to my pain and note it so we can discuss it at my next appointment, I've foudn it has been my normal for a long time. Most days I have a dull heavy pain throughout my pelvic region. I experience sharp sharp pains a few times a week, and daily when I'm on my period.

Finally, my sister has endometriosis.

So am I crazy, or does this fall right in line with endo. like I think it does..?

I would say it sounds like its possible, everyone has different symptoms for sure, but what you describe sure sounds familiar.

Has your doc scheduled a lap for you yet?

No lap yet. so far it has been an ultrasound, a pelvic exam in two weeks where we will have a more indepth discussion about everything. Then another ultrasound in two months. All the while I am to start tracking my pain, pretty much keeping a diary on it.

It sounds to me like you need a lap done ASAP and your doctor appears to be dragging his/her feet! I mean if they already know you have a cyst and all this pain...then what is the hold up! You are the one paying them so they should be listening to what you are saying and want. Things won't progress with your TTC journey if it keeps getting dragged out believe I know because I too have almost been TTC the old fashioned way for two years and now things are finally starting to come along since I put my foot down and said I am tired of playing the waiting game! You can see in my signature below what all I have had done so far now. I really hope for your sake they get things in gear for you. Baby dust to you!

I agree, I think you should be scheduled for a lap asap.

It seems like a lot of ladies really have to push to get their dr. to listen to their concerns when it comes to Endo. You really have to be on their case before they do anything.

Thank you ladies! Unfortunately I am in the military, and if you've ever heard anything about military doctors.... well I'm lucky to be seen!

But I am going to push for a lap now, just didn't want to jump the gun.

Your definitely not jumping the gun, good luck to you!
