Thanks to DD1 getting a friends sons name wrong I think I may have started a shortlist for names.

Obviously don't know gender yet so ...

Kaj John Bak
Kaja Elizabeth Bak

Kaj is the Danish way of spelling Kai....what DD1 called other boy was Kaia (pronounciation obviously)....sooo adjusting spelling and also making it a boys name I have these too.

Middle names are "John" for OH's dad and my maternal Uncle, And "Elizabeth" for my maternal Aunt.

So thoughts etc? :flower:

Is Kaja pronounced Kai-a? If so i really like it but not keen on Kaj for a boy, sorry.

I like the names but Im unsure of the way your saying to pronounce them. If they arent spelt the way they sound Im not a fan...sorry, if its Kaj and Kaja like they look I like them otherwise I would prefer Kai and Kaia

I'm also confused as to how you intend to pronounce them?

I really like Kai & Kaiya

Think my explanation on pronunciation was a little off....whilst spelt Kaj and Kaja....they are pronounced Kai and Kaia....gone with the spelling with a J as OH is Danish and that is how it is spelt in Denmark.

Though must say when I added those names to our small list he managed to add yet another suggestion that threw me a little....

I am the only one in my family that carries still the surname of my maternal grandad and grandma (well sort of as I currently still have my ex's surname as we were married and divorce not through) My mother was the last holder of the last name as she never married, and I lost her over 15 years ago. His suggestion was if it is a boy for my maiden name to be their middle name as it means David in Welsh, but of course Dewey doesnt go with Kaj very well lol so pretty much back to square one on boys names :dohh:
