How fast are you losing weight? How long did it take you to get back to pre-preg weight?
I'm bummed because I lost weight like crazy the first 5 weeks, now I'm stuck @ 120 lbs & the scale doesn't seem to be moving.

I lost 14lbs in 3 weeks and then Ive put it all back on again. I wasn't really looking after myself properly to be honest and I feel much ebtter at the weight I am now.

Try not to get disheartened, you just had a baby 6 weeks ago! take it slowly :) Remember you need to be sensible if your BF'ing too.

Sorry to sound like your mother, thats all Ive heard myself for the past few weeks lol

I lost 25 lbs. the first 2 weeks and haven't lost a pound since! I've since figured out, I'm not eating enough calories and my body thinks I'm starving, so it's hoarding fat. You should be eating 1800-2000 calories a day. I'm only eating about 1400.

Most of mine has only recently come off - 9 months on 9 months off

i was 8st 7 pre pregnancy, 11st 7 at 39 wks, when i weighed myself last week i was 9st 3. My little one is now 7wks old

i seem to have stuck too hun and i still have about another 28pds to lose!!!! i have lost about 30pds but i was a bit overweight before falling pregnant. i express milk but will be stopping soon.

i am joining weight watchers after my 6 weeks post natal check as i want to be slim next summer (agree with the 9 month on 9 month off theory!!!).

good luck to you!

Christine

I think all mine was gone by 2 months, but I didn't gain very much either.

120lbs is a healthy weight... Especially if you are breastfeeding, you still need extra calories to keep your energy levels and milk production up.

Also hun, you will find once your body continues maturing you will weigh more. I am by no means fat, wasn't before pregnancy, but my body and weight at 16 was definately alot less then once I hit 18, 19, 20... 15/16 I was steady about 115lbs and I am 5'3. 20 years and up I was steady 125lbs and am still only 5'3.

Your metabolism slows as you finish puberty etc (which doesn't end until your 20's). Your body has likely matured alot since last year.

But surely I could lose a bit of weight? I'm only 5 feet tall & 120 lbs.:( I've never weighed this much in my life.

hehe ya thats what I thought when I hit 125lbs as an adult :D

Dont worry about it now hun, wait until you wean little Joseph and then worry about it. 120lbs is not alot...

Since I've been eating more this week (just since Monday) I've actually lost 2 lbs!
