Those of you who have had a period...

Sorry, this is a bit personal but for those of you who have had a period whilst b/feeding, have they been any different from normal? ie very heavy or light?

I think I may have had one at last but it was very light and I thought they tended to be heavy at first???

I just got mine and the first two days were quite heavy -although nothing more than a medium tampax couldn't deal with -and now its on its way out, v light today (too light for anything other than liner) I also had a c section-not sure if that makes a difference,have read some girls say it does

Mine were medium and this last one was mega heavy and I panicked a bit to be honest. Everyone varies as you know. After birth some people bleed for a week an others a couple of months

With Casen I got a period about 8wks after he was born, extremely light but the no more until he weaned. With Hayden I got an IUD when he was 6wks old so that threw it off for awhile as that makes you bleed all the time. But once that stopped, no period until he night weaned at 15mo...then they were all very light. They have since stopped, I think due to my IUD, he self weaned so we are no longer nursing

I got my first one a few weeks ago and it was quite heavy, worried me a little bit actually
