The transition from 2 to 3 was rough for Violet, but Leo, who turns 3 next month, seems to be taking it in stride. Sure he's working on figuring out whether or nor tantrums are a good way to get what he wants, but he's not overly dramatic and he's not hard to calm. The best thing of all though? He can now entertain his sister! Violet is pretty demanding for attention and not very good at playing alone at home. Solution in the past - bug her parents. Solution now - play with her brother! Couple that with potty training, and mornings are much more awesome. Leo takes himself to the bathroom so all we have to do is slip his pants back on him or wipe his butt and he deals wi the rest and we can stay in bed longer. Then when both kids are ready to be up, they go off and play together instead of bugging us.

The second is easier, aren't they? My second will be 3 in May, she is a dream. Just potty trained, smart, but still very eager to follow direction.

It's the older one who's trouble, he will be 5 next month.
