A friend of mine on Facebook who also suffers from fertility problems posted a link to this article. Thought it would settle on interested eyes here...

My husband has ALWAYS used Dial soap. Poor guy went straight to the shower and threw it away after he saw this.
 
This is true.

During my 3rd ICSI, under my new FS, he strictly instructed that i am not allowed to shower using any bath products at least 12 hours before Egg Collection and Egg Transfer. They said it was would contaminate/affect and decrease the fertility chances. It's this 3rd time that i got a BFP.
 
Wow, I use almost all of those mentioned: dial hand soap, palmolive dish soap, colgate total toothpaste! :dohh:

It didn't affect my hubby, but it could be affecting me!
 
Yeah try not to use it. Even after my Egg Transfer, I didn't use any kind of soaps or feminine wash down there for 2 weeks. Only water, which is most natural.
