So recently my sickness has for worse and worse. I can't keep much down recently. And I'm at the point now, where all the acid from my stomach has burnt my throat. The pain when I talk or swallow is unbearable.
Is there anything I can take to try take the pain away? I've tried gavisgon, hurt to swallow and didn't do a thing. I just want to cry it hurts that much

I'm so sorry to hear that, it sounds like you're being ill quite a lot - you need to see your doctor and get prescribed some medicine for your nausea.

These are the tips I've found online :

Chew a piece of sugarless gum after meals. The increased saliva may neutralize any acid coming back up into the esophagus.

Eat yogurt or drink a glass of milk to quell symptoms once they start.

Add some honey to chamomile tea or a glass of warm milk.

I hope it eases off soon for you :hugs:

Thankyou for that :)

I've already tried the milk and yoghurt, but both have done nothing.

I'll be sure to try the other two tomorrow though, anything is worth trying.. And once again, thankyou :)

I'm so sorry your dealing with this! I know exactly what it's like as when I was suffering from MS the throwing up was so extreme that acid would burn my throat and tongue! It was disgusting. Water wouldn't help because the acid would just completely take over :(

Hope your feeling better soon x

I remember this, too. If you can without vomiting, try swallowing a spoonful of honey every now and again. Also, try to drink water straight after you throw up, to try and wash the acid away a bit. Hope you feel better soon!
