Thrush @ 33 weeks advice needed

Hi ladies,

So i started with vaginal thrush just over 2 weeks ago hoping it would clear on it's own but no such luck so gp prescribed a pessary which i inserted overnight lastnight. Only today I'm having cramping/period pain in my tummy and lower back. I'm currently resting to observe babies movements but windered if anyone has had a similar experince after a pessary for thrush?

My two previous pregnancies I had bad thrush at the end, but I can't remember any cramping after using the pessary? Maybe ask your midwife hun, it could be something else as well x

Thing's have settled down this afternoon and had lots of movement from baby so I'm quite settled that everything is okay.
I've been following your journey HLx, how are things going? Any regular contractions that are staying put yet?

Good hun glad to hear! Maybe the pessary irritated your cervix as it went in, if you get any other cramps it's always best to get checked out

Things are still as they were for me, no amazing update as the contractions have completely stopped, yet again! I know he will be here soon, but it's just so annoying when he's tried coming for 8 weeks, and now it's more stop start than ever! Thank you for asking x
