Hi ladies,

My GP ran some tests to see why I have had two miscarriages. The Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody level was high. Does anyone know what this means? what implications it has and if it can be treated?

Results:

• Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody level = 279 kiu/L – (High)
• Serum free T4 level = 16.2 pmol/L
• Lupus anticoagulant screening test = Lupus Anticoagulant: Negative
• Serum IgM anticardiolipins level < 1 MPL/ml Original Result: 1.0MPL kU/L (<10.1)
• Serum IgG anticardiolipins level = 1.3 GPL U/ml Original Result: 1.3GPL kU/L (<10.1)
