Hey just wondering if anyone has a tilted uterus and how it has affected you getting pregnant or during pregnancy?

Yes I do. Never had a problem with my 1st two, pretty much got pregnant right away with them. This time it took 12 mths with two early losses. But I don't think it had anything to do with my uterus because we ended up falling pregnant using the withdrawal method lol!

Ok Thanks. A lot of internet searches say it doesn't affect your fertility, so that is good to know :) Thanks

Yup! I have one. Had zero issues with either :)

I have a retroverted flexed cervix and it wasn't picked up until my ultrasound. We fell pregnant on month 3 so no complications with conceiving. I did have to have all my early scans internal as nothing would show up abdominally.

I have one. I'm infertile but my infertility is caused by other factors.

Apparently they move to the normal place as pregnancy goes on.

Ihave one. Only issue I found was that at my first scan (11 weeks) they couldn't see baby very well as he was hiding near the back so they asked to do an internal scan to get a clearer look at him.

I found out my uterus was tilted from having an internal scan done. It wasn't too pleasant lol but I would deal with it to see baby

Hello, yes I have one and had no issues, I had an internal US scan at about 7+ weeks last time, had another this time at the same time and she tried externally first and found it no probs, I thought that it might cause a problem there but it seems not in my case!

I have a tilted uterus. No issues falling pregnant. The only issues I had was that with my first born, I had to have internals for the first 2 ultrasounds (first at 8 weeks, second at 12 weeks), at my 16 wk appt. I had an external without any issues. I was told to not worry if I didn't show so quickly because my 'bump' was towards the back-center. The uterus corrects itself as you get bigger, so there should also be no issues with delivery. My uterus went back to being tilted. At my last pap smear (almost a year ago) my doctor said "Oh, your uterus is tilted" and I said "yeah, I know" and she just said "Your paps must be very uncomfortable, I'll try to be as gentle as possible" - so I know my uterus didn't correct itself after the birth of my son. With #2, it's too early to see anything, but I don't expect to be showing anytime soon.

I had 1 dr tell me it was tilted. It took me 6 months to get pregnant. I think it corrected itself during pregnancy and baby #2 was conceived right away!
