Is it normal that she (she's somewhere around 11lbs) is still only eating 3 1/2-4oz a feed, but feeding every 2 hours? I read about babies on here who are eating 6oz and they're younger than her. I'd like to increase the time in between her feeds because I spend 3/4 of my day feeding and burping her, but she just won't take it :(

As long as she is happy, the she is likely fine-if she wanted more she would take it!

During the day I feed Jasmine about every 3 hours and she eats about 4-5oz. In the evening she feeds more often and eats less.

Something that works to help spread the time out is go for a long car ride or go shopping, Jasmine always sleeps way longer if we are out and can go longer bettween feeds, so if you do that you may be able to get her to go 3 hours and take a bit more.

Helena is still like this at 3 months. It gets very annoying, lol. I know what you mean about reading about babies younger who eat a lot and have big periods in between. I feel like I am constantly feeding her! Hopefully Renah gets out of this habit and it doesn't last 3 months. I am gonna try Ryders idea!

When Jasmine was really cranky and colicky having a bigger period bettween feeds actually seemed to help too... but it could have just been us...

I get longer between feed whn we're out and about. Feed her up then get her in the pram or car and go out - see if that helps. We go 1/5 hrs to 2 in the morning and evening but when were out (generally afternoon) we cn go 4 hrs and more at times. :)
