Hello Everyone,

My name's Karen and it has been over 3years since I began ttc. Today my af came and I'm doubled up in agony. It's always the same - so painful that I feel sick. I take feminax which eventually relieves the pain though. Any ideas or similar experiences with this sort of pain then please let me know.

Going to book my doctors appointment now. He knew we were ttc but as I was being investigated and treated to prevent cervical cancer just a few months ago, the ttc had to be put on hold. In other words he half expects the visit through previous conversations.

I know everyone says to try to relax about the whole process but that is a lot easier said than done.

Welcome to our dark corner!

Have you had a lap to check for endo? Or any fertility testing?

Oh, Im sorry hun :hugs: it has been six years starting next month since we started trying. Have you been checked for any fertility problems? I have PCOS so I don't ovulate on my own. Hubby has been checked and everything is good with him. It's hard to go through the constant let downs, cycle after cycle, but your are not alone. If you havent been checked for any fertility problems maybe you should, at least you will know. Has your partner been checked? Good luck lots of sticky baby dust your way.

Thank you both for taking the time to reply. We haven't yet had any testing do I'll ring the doctors to start that process. Well last month I used a cbfm and ovulated on day 15 of 29. This is my usual pattern (previously used opks).

What should I expect at the doctors? I was reading some other posts and it's amazing how long this can all take.

6years is incredible - how do you cope? I find that so many people are announcing the pregnancies around me and I find that do hard. My SIL was the worse one to hear a few weeks ago and to be honest it puts me off seeing her and that side of the family because I know that is all they will talk about and they have no idea what we are going through so it just hurts.

We have been married for 6 years now and randomly people are asking us again when we will have a family. I suppose now that im 27 people just think its the right age.

Anyhow sorry to rant. It's hard sharing any of this with friends and family so thank you for allowing me to get it off my chest here.
