It's been a really long time since I posted or read the forums - I took a break from TTC for awhile. I was frustrated and sad and extremely busy with with work and school and decorating our new place, so we stopped temping and peeing on sticks (though not actively trying didn't result in a pregnancy, either).
We've now been trying since May 2011. As a result of going off bc, my suspected endometriosis got much worse. I went to my doctor (not a fertility specialist) in February to talk about TTC and the endo, and she performed a laparoscopy in May and removed scar tissue and flushed my tubes with dye. I'm now in my second cycle since the surgery. At my follow up, the doctor told me that she doesn't think there isn't any reason I can't pregnant, and that everything now looks fine. She told me to basically chill out and let nature take its course.
But, we still haven't had my husband checked out, and again, though I love my doctor, and she did the tube flushing-thing for me off the record (because insurance would only cover the treatment for endo, not for infertility), I am wondering if we should go ahead and start consulting with a fertility specialist? Or should we chill out and see what happens post lap? Thoughts or advice from any of you lovely ladies would be greatly appreciated.
And, I'm really glad to see some familiar names, though I hope you will all have bfps soon!
Oh - I'm 36, husband is 30.
