Tiny red dots?

This is my first pregnancy and I've started to notice tiny red dots on my upper arms and chest. Like very very small, slightly raised or flat, the size of a pinhead. My mom had the same thing when she was pregnant with me, and hers never went away. They don't hurt or bother me, and I'm not worried because my mom had the same thing and she's fine, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows what they are? I've looked it up, and apparently a lot of people say it's broken blood vessels, but they mention that they go away after pregnancy. But since my moms never went away, maybe it's something different? I'm just curious if it's a common pregnancy thing and if anyone else is experiencing this as well!

P.s. Our gender scan appt. is in 11 days!!

They're called cherry angioma or cherry hemangioma they aren't harmful, but if they change in shape or size I would go see an dermatologist
