Tiny Toddlers?

Just wondering if anyone has a toddler who is still small. My son was full term but has had problems with weight gain. He's now 18 lbs 9oz at 15 months old. My problem is he's starting to walk but is barely a size 1. Can anyone offer advice on what to do about shoes?

Some people are just small I was 25 pounds in kindergarten. My mother also struggled to buy shoes for me. I can even remember trying to find kids size 8/9 shoes. I was evaluated for a host of medical conditions but they all came back as normal. I'm only just over 5 feet tall now, but very healthy.

My lo was 20lb 9oz on her 3rd birthday so she is very small for her age.

I mainly used soft sole baby trainers which you can get in a size 0 & 1. Once she was confidently walking I got her a pair of shoes from kickers online as they were selling size ones. When she got to a 2 you can get start rite shoes. If ur in uk I got mine is Russell and Bromley xx
