I have flown with him before but he was 4months then and ebf. Now he is active, eats everything and likes to play.
Anyone got tips on good entertainment for a 10hour flight? There is a movie screen for each seat and cartoons etc. He doesn't do DVDs on iPads etc. I was thinking. Colouring stuff n paper, books to look at. It all needs to be lightweight and travel friendly as we travel around when we've got there.
Also snacks. I'm thinking cereal pouches, crackers biscuits etc. Non sticky/messy foods. Any other ideas.we get fed on the flight but I just want to make sure incase he is hungry at different times to us!

If you have any other ideas suggestions for things you can think of let me know too.

Thanks in advance people. :)

We went to Mexico when DS was 14 months and he was fine on the flight. Took Cheerios in a snack pot that he had to fish out. Also he played on my phone, watched some stuff on the TV and I got him leap-pad second hand off eBay which was great. We walked up and the down the aisles as much as we could and tried to keep him awake as much as possible before the flight lol. There was a soft play area at Manchester airport so we took him there for a bit before the flight too. Hope this helps! Oh and a sticker book he enjoyed playing with as well x

My dd was 17 months when we had to take two 9 hour flights. The first left at 1am so she basically slept the entire flight. The second one was during the day and was a bit harder. Also, she didn't have her own seat. I made sure to have lots of special treat snacks - things she didn't normally get like cookies. I took some books too. Depending on who you fly with, some airlines have special packs they give little ones with games and colouring in things, etc. I was also lucky that dd does like to watch shows on the tablet so that took up some time.
Finger puppets are nice. Have a look on pinterest - some great ideas on there!

I took a four hour flight when my oldest was 16 months. The hardest thing was having to have her on my lap. There was just so little space! So, if you can, get your child their own seat.
I made sure to book an aisle seat, so I could walk up and down the aisle with her. She was quite happy to watch Mr Tumble on my tablet, so I definitely suggest downloading some favourites.
She had her own backpack with treats packed inside. She had some squares of paper and a pack of wax crayons, biscuits, a few new toys, and some small books.
I also packed a cup of milk for her. Check the rules regarding liquids in hand luggage, as the restrictions don't apply when you travel with children under a certain age. I think it might be under two. I ran her milk under the hot tap in the ladies toilet just before we boarded the plane, so it was warmish when she drank it, and that helped send her to sleep for a bit.
