DD2 is three days old and feeding really well, but her latch is AWFUL. It's not as painful as it might be, but she's not opening her mouth very wide so not taking in much nipple. I've tried moving her to the breast with her head tilted back to try and encourage her to open her mouth wider but she's having none of it. Any tips ?

I was told the best latch is achieved by the "bioloogical nurturing" or "laid back" position. This basically involves bubs latching themselves on. It helped get rid of my badly grazed and cracked nipples. It was recommended at a breastfeeding clinic I attended. If you type it into google there's loads of videos and info xx
