TMI AF question

I had my normal debilitating cramps the day I got AF, normally I start having a medium/heavy bright red bleed. This month I've only gotten a nasty brownish color with huge clots for two days, and now it's over.

So obviously I'm not getting any new blood to call CD1, so should I just count the first day of brown bleeding at CD1? Is the fact that it's all old blood a bad thing?

yeh still count any type of bleeding brown or not cd 1 good luck for u

Hi - usually the brown spotting is not classed as CD1 - you have to wait til you get the red blood - but seen as you didnt get any red blood then you will have to class the brown stuff as CD1. Did you do a HPT to make sure you werent pregnant? Maybe you didnt Ov last month and thats why AF is a bit messed up this month?
