Hope this doesn't offend anyone, but...............
Would you BD if you were bleeding/spotting from a procedure, but ovulating at the same time?

Would it work still? Dr said an HSG shouldn't effect ovulation, but if I'm losing lining, can it still implant?

Sorry for asking, just wondering whether to get over it and get on with it, or abstein and put this month down to experience.

Your thoughts?????????

Hi hun!

Cant help with the question, but its a good thought!

Hope someone comes to help soon! xxx

I would wait. I don't really have a reason, but just to be on the safe side.

If I ever ovulated at all whether i was bleeding or not we'd be dancing. But I don't ovulate. so.. yah. That's just me though.
Good luck!

When you bleed from a procedure it's not the lining being lost. It's just blood from the procedure.

Thanks Ladies,

:blush::blush::blush:
Decided just to get on with it!!!!

Found the preseed, and used alot! It had a flushing effect, and did have some suprises when wiped, but it got rid, and now only have slightly pink CM!

So dance, we did!

Good luck!
The month i got my BFP was straight after a procedure! It wasn't a HSG but i was spotting and told not to BD for a week or so after. When Dr did the procedure though she pointed out all the ewcm on the camera and said "oooh you can tell you're ovulating"! Well - thats like a red rag to a bull saying that to a LTTTC-er! Think we abstained for 2 days then went for it. And voila! First ever BFP after 18 months TTC and it stuck!
I'd always say just do what feels right - you know your own body better than anyone else. I knew after 2 days that although it might be slightly yukky for poor DH, it wasn't going to hurt!!!

Thanks Coffee!

Your story really gives me hope! Have been hoping that the lap n dye + hsg might have given me a flush out and was determined not to miss my first chance. Fingers crossed, another go tonight!

Big
