tmi... but swelling?!

sounds like you may have an infection to me..
when did you last get your wee tested?x

Had it tested today, just usual test and everything fine

If its itchy and swollen then it could just be thrush, so easily treated :) Worth asking your midwife, just incase it is.

I've thought about that as I know it is quite common in pregnancy but still a bit embarrased about it  though I know I shouldn't be... Is it easy treatable? I've never had it before...

all they do is give you some cream to put on :)
it can get soo uncomfortable though, so worth mentioning.

it's really common - and they can give you cream and pessary's - which aren't the nicest thing to take, but it's really common, so loads of pregnant women will have done it.. even the ones who are wayy too glamourous!

it should clear up in a week - two weeks, i'd mention it to your midwife soon as you can, as it can be quite dangerous the closer you get to your due date (not to worry you).. as it can cause complications in birth..
and it's not worth it for soemthing thats so easily treatable.. oh and don't be embarassed.. i was really embarassed talking to the midwife a few weeks ago - but in a sense you just gotta let it go when you're with her, at the end of the day, they hear much worse and they see womens private parts all the time..
they'd rather you spoke to them about it, than just not mention it.. they just want to give you the best care... and also you should mention anything that worries you.. even if it's something that seems silly - they've heard EVERYTHING before..
xxxx

oh and bbyno1... don't wish for an internal - they're a bit  embarassing and uncomfy... hehe
xxx
