TMI- Diarrea after coming off iron spatone

Hello! I visited my doctor last week who said I can come off the liquid iron supplement Spatone. Whilst I was on it I had horrible constipation. But the 5 days ive been off it so far ive had diarrea just in the evening after my evening meal. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am using spatone atm but the first 4 days on it I had diarrhoea so stopped taking it, I dont know if it was coincidence as I always thought it would block me right up, so it might not have been that! I have heard that people can get side effects coming off it though! If its obly in the evening maybe just see how it goes but if its all day you should see your gp.

If I still have it tomorrow I will go doctors. I've been to the loo 3-4 times so far today, feel sick an tired an the abdominal cramping (like period pain but dull) is constant x

Yeh I would hun, best to get it checked out, coyld just be hormones messing with your bowel movements, ive been up and down with mine! I have also had a stomach bug whilst being pregnant too, so you couldve picked something up x
