*TMI* Just a quick cycle charting question...

Might sound really dim, but here we go!
Yesterday morning I got AF cramps but hardly any bleeding (as in, nothing on sanitary towel, just a tiny bit of blood mixed with some CM. Sorry TMI! lol). The actual bleeding started either very early this morning, so was the first day of my cycle yesterday or today?

CD 1 is the first day of full flow ie bleeding so if you start in the night CD1 is the morning.
