TMI Mucus Plug?

Hey guys, I had an exam yesterday and found out I was 1 cm dialated and about 25-50% effaced. Lately, I've been having so many braxton hicks and today I've had them almost constantly but I don't really know if they have a pattern or not because my stomach feels constantly hard so I can't time them, I've been wearing pads to deal with extra discharge and tonight I noticed brown discharge but it didn't seem mucusy unless the pad absorbed that? Im just not sure if the pad absorbs something that i'm assuming is thicker than regular discharge? Does this sound like my plug or something I should call the doctor with?

Its very sticky and thick almost. its like snot( SORRRYY)

If you'd been examined you can get a little bit of blood come away then, my plug looked like snot at first then it turned to more blood coloured, gross I know x
